LaComb’s 10 Threes Set School Record as Stanwood Cruises on Senior Night
On senior night, Mylee LaComb delivered a performance to remember, breaking the Stanwood school record for most made three-pointers in a single game. LaComb connected on 10 shots from beyond the arc, finishing with a game-high 30 points to lead the Spartans to a dominant 78–15 win over Marysville Pilchuck. The previous record of nine three-pointers was set last season by Jazmyn Legg.
Stanwood set the tone early and never looked back, building a commanding lead behind sharp perimeter shooting and steady offensive pressure. Ellalee Wortham provided another strong scoring presence, pouring in 24 points as the Spartans showcased their depth and balance. Stanwood’s defense also played a key role, limiting Marysville Pilchuck’s scoring opportunities throughout the night.
The record-setting performance capped a special evening for the Spartans, who celebrated senior night with a statement victory in front of the home crowd.
