Stanwood 49, Everett 28: Spartans Offense Explodes in Big Win

he Spartans put on a show Friday night, defeating Everett 49-28 in a high-scoring thriller!

Quarterback Alex Maldonado was spectacular, hitting Kolby McKnight for a 44-yard touchdown and later scrambling 16 yards into the end zone. Maldonado finished 17 of 22 for 318 yards, 2 TDs, and 1 interception, while McKnight hauled in 5 receptions for 116 yards and a score.

Our NorthSound Physical Therapy Player of the Game, Brenner Perry, stepped in at running back and made a huge impact. He carried the ball 12 times for 98 yards and 2 touchdowns, showing speed and vision as he bounced outside for big gains.

Stanwood’s offense was unstoppable all night, totaling 490 yards—318 passing and 172 rushing. The Spartans mixed explosive passing plays with a strong ground game, keeping Everett off balance and controlling the pace.

With this win, Stanwood continues to build momentum, proving they can strike quickly through the air and dominate on the ground. The Spartans’ balanced attack and playmakers like Maldonado, McKnight, and Perry make them a tough team to beat as the season moves forward.
