Spartans Surge in Second Half to Defeat Marysville-Getchell 3–1

The Stanwood Spartans earned a solid 3–1 victory over Marysville-Getchell in a game that shifted gears after halftime. The teams went into the break tied 1–1, with both sides showing energy and creating chances in a competitive first half.

Stanwood came out stronger in the second half, finding their rhythm and capitalizing on key opportunities. Lucas Gaydeski broke the deadlock with the go-ahead goal, giving the Spartans their first lead of the match. Later, Garrent Russell added an insurance goal to extend the advantage and put the game out of reach.
