Stanwood dominates Marysville Getchell, 73–23

Stanwood delivered a dominant all-around performance Tuesday night, rolling past Marysville Getchell 73–23 in Wesco North action.

Ellalee Wortham led the way with a game-high 28 points, setting the tone early as the Spartans built a commanding lead and never looked back. Stanwood’s pressure defense fueled its offense, creating turnovers that turned into easy scoring opportunities.

Georgia Lenz provided a spark on both ends of the floor, coming up with steals and converting in transition, including a coast-to-coast drive for two.

The Spartans controlled the game defensively, holding Marysville Getchell to 23 points and limiting clean looks at the basket throughout the night.

With the win, Stanwood improved to 7–1 overall and 2–0 in league play. Marysville Getchell fell to 3–7 overall and 1–1 in conference action.
