Stanwood 70, Marysville Getchell 56

An early slam by Dylan Wallace ignited the Spartans, setting the tone for a 70-56 win over the Marysville Getchell Chargers.

Rece Green, named North Sound Physical Therapy Player of the Game, led Stanwood’s offense and anchored the defense. He hit jumpers, drove aggressively to the basket, and consistently kept the team in control.

Stanwood built a strong lead early and never looked back, combining crisp passing with tenacious defense. Marysville Getchell fought hard but couldn’t keep pace with Green and the Spartans’ balanced attack.

With the victory, Stanwood improves to 1-1 in Wesco North.
