Doersam Tosses Complete-Game Shutout as Stanwood Defeats Everett 4-0

League-leading Stanwood rolled to a 4-0 victory over Everett behind a dominant performance from Steven Doersam, who pitched a complete-game shutout. Doersam struck out three, while allowing just two hits and two walks as the Spartans improved to 11-3 overall and 5-1 in league play. Stanwood broke the game open in the fourth inning when, with the bases loaded, Dean Fagen crushed a 3-RBI triple off the wall to give the Spartans a three-run lead. Defensively, Grady Lamb made a great throw to catcher Corban Foreslund, who applied the tag at home plate to cut down an Everett runner.
