Stanwood Dominates Marysville-Getchell, 4-0

The Stanwood Spartans picked up their second Wesco league win of the season with a decisive 4-0 victory over the Marysville-Getchell Chargers, moving to 2-0 in league play. Stanwood controlled the match from the opening whistle, creating numerous scoring chances and keeping the Chargers on the back foot throughout.

Goals came from Calley White, Olivia Wipf, Georgia Lenz, and Kendall Rhodes, each contributing to the Spartans’ balanced attack. Georgia Lenz’s goal gave Stanwood a 3-0 lead in the first half, effectively putting the game out of reach. The Spartans’ defense held strong as well, not allowing a single goal, showcasing a complete team effort on both ends of the field.
